Unilag DLI grading.

GRADING. 

1. Each course is graded on a maximum of 100 marks.
    Proportions of this shall be assigned to examinations and continuous assessment as determined by the institute.

2. A course previously passed shall not be registered for again, especially for the purpose of improving on the previous grade earned.

3. All  compulsory courses failed must be registered for again and passed.

4. To make normal progress towards the degree, a student must pass all courses specified in his curriculum and obtain a cumilative Grade Average CGPA not below 1.00 each session.

5. Any student whose CGPA, at the end of any session is less than 1.00 is placed on academic PROBATION for a period of one session during which he is expected to improve on his overall average grade.

6. Any student who fails to obtain a CGPA of at least 1.00 during any session while on probation shall normally be asked to withdraw from the institute.

7. Students asked to withdraw, may if they desire, petition the Academic Board of the institution through, the Director for consideration for re-admission.

8. Students are expected to pass all compulsory courses, including the University required courses.

9. The minimum pass mark in any course is 40%.The marks obtained by each student in every course shall be assigned appropriate leyter grades and grade points (GP) as follows:
